I’m 13, height of 5’4″, weight of 170lb, how can I loose weight quickly?

My BMI is around 26, which is too high. I want to loose weight for health and appearance purposes. I am a big build, so is my family, but I want to be a healthy weight for my height/age/build etc.
How can I loose weight quickly and easily? I am prepared to do exercise and a food diet.

    exercise, eat minimally.
    if fails, don’t eat at all and smoke a pack a day.

    Then use nutrition info on food packaging and go to nutritiondata.com and you’ll find how many calories each food contains.

    This is way overweight. When I was 13 I was 5’7 and only 117 pounds! Your going to want to eat fewer calories and exercise more! Go and run intervals on the treadmill to boost your cardio and spike your heart rate to burn more fat. Please feel free to contact me if you have further questions.

    The Atkins diet is amazing. I lost 20 lbs on it and have still kept it off. The great thing is, it’s starts off as a diet and then it turns into a lifestyle change so you have a healthier life. Look it up and buy one of the books, I guarantee you will be glad you did 🙂

    There is not a quick way for effective, long term, weight loss. You have to change your life style. Become more active, and exercise in your spare time. Use what you’re being taught in your Physical Education class in your spare time. At your age it’s hard to change what you are eating, because your parents provide the food. You can make a concience effort to eat smaller portions, and eat less processed foods. If it comes out of a package or a box it’s usually processed. Good luck. At your age, it’s easier to change these things and your body will react better to it than someone my age (31). Don’t quit.

    Get up earlier if possible and go for a brisk walk, have a really healthy breakfast, but limit ur seelf to tea and coffee. Have a piece ov fruit of u get hungry before lunch. Stay away from fatty food at lunch and don’t over-eat. Again if u get hungry before tea have a piece ov fruit. eat 3 hrs before goin to sleep as, if u eat before u go to bed ur sleep on fat which will cause u 2 gain weight. Do lots ov exercises and in a few months u will c a result!! Good luck 4 the future! 🙂

    walk 2 miles on an empty stomach at the same time everyday swim if you can or run avoid fried fast foods go for more fresh fruits veggies good chicken soups veggie soups good lean pro teins fish chicken turkey some pizza some pasta use your body the most you can do not be a couch potatoe great question
