Just start moving, it will become addictive and u can increase. set up a time lets say in the morning, and every morning do something. The results will drive u to do more.

Start by warming up and stretching. A few toe touches, side stretches and then some running on the spot will warm and stretch, then you will have far less aches and pains when you actually get going.
Definitely do a little bit to start with and build on it.
Make sure you have water on hand.
Dress in light clothing shorts and vest or whatever with another layer you can remove once you are warm.
At the end, do your warm up stretches etc to cool down again.

Start off light you dnt want to over do it on ur 1st time.
To be honest i would recommend you do your fitness every other day or xtrainer monday, multi gym tuesday, treadmill wednesday and so on, this way ur working different muscles everyday and not over doing a certain region of your body, use the wkend as a rest period for yourself then repeat ur chosen routine on the monday. I reccomend you do atleast 5-10 minutes of stretches and warm up ur body this will help the blood flow more freely and help with oxygenating ur body.
only do what u feel u can do at 1st, take your time and dnt push urself as this could cause injury, which would delay ur fitness regime.
work out a routine that suits u and stick to it for mayb a month and see how you feel, if you feel confident and are finding it easier to do then up the anti a little, maybe addin half a mile to your run, an xtra 10 mins on the xtrainer, whateva you feel comfortable doing.
when you have finished your workout always remember to have a cool down period of atleast 10 minutes and remember to always do your stretches before and after you have had a workout.
Enjoy your workout and all the best with the new healthy you.

Eating sensibly, treadmill and cross trainer can be warm up tools, and cool down ones too, multi gym is for when you have speeded up your heart rate, got sweating, DRINK LOTS OF WATER THROUGHOUT the whole session, and after. Use the weights ONLY when warmed up, cool down on the cross trainer or treadmill after, then stretch out everywhere….

You can use this equipment in a long session (About 1 and a half hours in total) 3 times a week, but all the advice points to around 30 to 45 mins a day is better for you… regular and short.

So if you want to do a bit every day…
Day 1) 15 mins treadmill & 15 Mins Xtrainer Or work up to it. starting at 5min each if you are quite unfit.
Day 2) 15 min treadmill, 15 min various weights, usually 3 sets of 10 lifts followed by 5 min xtrainer cool down.
Day 3) Take the dog or children for a long walk – 1-2 hours for a change, stretch out after
Day 4) 10 min warm up on xtrainer, 15 min weights in sets again, the last repetition on each set should be a bit of a struggle to know your weight is heavy enough. again 10-15 mins on tready.
Day 5) 10 min warm up on treadmill or xtrainer, followed by intense incline wirk for 5 min on each, again your half an hour workout.
Day 6) warm up, weights, cool down & stretch
Day 7) Take at least one day off a week, you deserve a rest!

Both the machines you have for aerobic work are very good for warming up, which is on flat or very low incline at a walking speed,
But both machines can really test you with incline, speed, you can really compete with your previous times at say jogging a mile which is 1.61 Km i think, and beating your own times with that, if you dont do the walking warm up you will pull muscles, if you dont do a walking speed cool down for 5-10 mis before stretching out, you will hurt yourself, between weight lifting days you should do alternate days to let the muscles rest, there is no reason why you couldn’t do treadmill or xtrainer

do 5 mins on both xtrainer and treadmill and then use the multigym. Start off slow and build up to 15 mins on both and then use the multigym.
