go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

You don’t say how tall you are or how much you weigh, but try eating several small meals and make sure you get lots of fiber. Fruit with oatmeal at breakfast will keep you feeling satisfied for a long time. Munch on veggies during the day and then eat a sensible dinner. Allow yourself a healthy snack like yogurt or fruit. Make sure you get plenty of water. Try to get out for a brisk walk during the day (try at least 30 minutes and then work your way up to 45 minutes to an hour). You should see results pretty quickly.

    Good luck!

    This is possible.

    1. You need to change your diet
    2. You need to exercise

    1. Diet. I would recommend reducing the amount of calories and saturated fats that you eat. The second thing I would suggest would be to eat more frequently (…yes, more!!). By eating “smaller” meals “more” frequently, your body adapts to the requirements of the digestive system by increasing your metabolism (chemical reactions occuring in your body). This in-turn allows you to burn fat more easily! I don’t like to promote diet plans but FatLoss4Idiots is a very effective one: http://www.starturl.com/fat-loss

2.Exercise. You want to lose weight in a relatively short amount of time, so you should dedicate yourself to working hard. A cardio exercise, i.e. jogging, aerobics, cycling, etc. lasting a minimum of 20 minutes (continuously), at a pace which takes your heart rate to approximately 60% of it’s maximum is optimal for fat loss. On the RPE scale (rate of perceived excersion), where 1 is complete rest, and 10 is complete exhaustion… you want to be working at about a “6”. Do this every other day (or more often if you are up to it!), coupled with a good diet, and you will definately see (and feel) results.

Things like press-ups and sit-ups are good for muscle toning, and are a good addition to cardio exercises… but if fat loss is your goal then cardio work should be your focus.

From a motivation point of view, it is a good idea to join an exercise class – it takes the boredom away.

Basic rule: if you burn off more calories than you consume, your body is forced to use your fat reserves as an emergency enery source!!!

Remember to seek medical advice if you are undertaking an exercise plan for the first time…

    Good Luck 🙂

Hi I’m not sure if you want to do it with exercise or pills. But I have heard of the 72 hour weight loss pill…Google it and it will have all the information.

Hi, what a great goal to work towards! You can make major changes between now and August. You know about the exercise. You’ve got to do that every day, for 30-60 minutes. To get really motivated, I’d go on a short-term diet for two weeks to drop a few pounds really quickly. Then you’ll be excited enough for the long haul to August! Check out the website below. There’s good information on motivation and activity. Be sure to check out the Diet Plans section. The new 5-4-3-2-1 diet will probably help you drop some major weight in just two weeks, and you can eat whatever you choose, just less of it. Remember that if you cut back the amount of food that you eat, you’ve got to make sure that what you DO eat is healthy. Good luck. You’re going to look great in August!

if you have the money and you are in the right location for it you should try seattle sutton’s weekly food delivery. they are very healthy options and good portion sizes with lots of variety of foods, including desserts…but they are portion controlled and are based on the amount of calories you need for your goals. also, try walking at least 30 minutes a day to start and then increase to 1 hour a day. if you join a gym, do cardio at an intensity that you can maintain for about 30 minutes, but you can only speak about 3 words at a time. if you aren’t with a gym, go from walking to jogging and eventually running. if you go at weight loss from a healthy stand point and want this for more than just to not be the big guy at the wedding, it will be a better goal for you.

i would recommend a good and STRICT regime of healthy food – controlled amount of calories, plenty of fluids and regular exercise. weather is improving so you know you have a good chance of getting into shape before august !!

    follow these

    – stop eating all crisps / bisquits ./ chocolates etc NONE WHATSOEVER.

    – plan your meals and stick to them:

healthy breakfast – small bowl of porridge and an apple

healthy lunch – 1 serving of pasta with vegetables and some salad no dressings or a healthy wrap

healthy snack – 1 piece of fruit or a cereal bar

healthy dinner – chicken salad or a toastie or a jacket potatoe. something light. remember to keep your dinners light.

    – drink 8 – 10 glasses of water a day.

go for half an hour jog in the morning and evenings. or join the gym if you prefer that.

be determined, be strict with yourself, dont comfort eat and dont laze around. buy some good low fat cook books for recipe ideas. any free time you have – use it to get fit and work on reducing weight

remember – DONT FALL FOR quick fix diets that claim and guarantee that you will lose weight. because starving yourself is not the solution and in the long term you will gain weight when you stop dieting.

all the best and hope the wedding turns out great !!
