How will I lose weight by cutting sugary food?

Okay, so I want to lose weight, and I’m planning to cut down all the sugary stuff. What else do I need to do besides that?

    It’s not just sugar that you need to cut down. It’s simple carbohydrates and processed foods such as white bread, packaged crackers, etc.

    Other than that, the rest is pretty simple-eat lots of fruit/vegetables, eat 5-6 small meals a day, drink lots of water, and exercise.

    Your plan is good. Sugar pumps up the pancreas to release insulin which makes the body store fat. You need to cut down also on other simple carbs. Eat more of fresh fruits and vegetables high in vitamin C like lemons, oranges, pineapples, grapefruit, limes, apples, watermelon, tomatoes, carrot, broccoli, cabbage, and celery – they burn body fat.

    High-fiber fruits and vegetables as well as nutritious whole grains like barley, millet, brown rice, etc., keep our digestive system on track and steady insulin levels, which prevents storage of body fat.

    Do aerobic exercise like brisk walking, bicycling(real or stationary) jumping rope etc. Exercise for at least 30 minutes – 1 hour is better, on most days.
