It is possible to lose weight rapidly but you should be realistic and accept that if you lose weight quickly then you will almost certainly put it all back on again just as quickly. I lost 5 pounds recently when I had a special celebration to attend, and I did it by following the tips and tricks presented on the web resource in the box below.

1. First start by getting up earlier than usual. Around 5:30 AM to do some of you workouts. Getting up early shocks your metabolism because the body needs more energy to get going. Right? This will start your system on the road to weight loss. That early start with about 10 minutes of stretching. Have a cup of coffee to get the blood going also.
2. Do all the sit-ups you can. Just do them. 15 or 20 whatever, we don’t have a lot of time to work with. Rest 1 minute repeat, do this for 6 sets. Already you are breathing hard and feel worn, because the body is working extra hard at being up earlier and then going right into exercise. If the early morning hour lets you get your cardio in, go ahead and do it. 30 minutes.
3. Diet. Cut all current meal portions in half, just cut them in half, nothing fancy or complicated, CUT IN HALF! Cut out all bread products, all gravies, candies, chips, night snacks, etc. If you crave at night eat a banana, other fruit or best a non-fat yogurt. There are some tasty ones out there.
4. In the evening do another 6 sets of sit-ups maxing out each set. Cardio again. The trick is to stay with getting up earlier. Yes it’s hard, that’s why it is so effective. Why do you think the Army gets up so early, it is intense training to the max.

There are many factors to take into consideration when trying to answer your question. Are you currently following a training program? What kind of exercise can you handle? How much weight do you need to lose? Assuming your in good shape, I would suggest looking into HIIT training for fat loss.

by september you can lose up to 40 pounds. be realistic with yourself… how many pounds do you need to lose? if you could have tell me your weight i could tell you how much you should be. now i suggest you to see your BMI (body mass index). here’s a free website:

to lose weight you have to remember 4 small and easy things:
(1) eat healthy: try to eat 5-6 small meals during the day. avoid fried and fast foods. make healthy choices at restaurants. avoid or drink less alcohol. drink 8-10 glasses of water every day. eat healthy foods like: fruits and veggies, lean meat, fresh fish, whole wheat carbs, whole grain cereal, fiber, etc. eat any sweet or eat junk food only once a week and a small portion of it.
(2) exercise: you should exercise at least 3 times a week for 30 min to burn fat. you should do any kind of cardio. aerobics, pilates and simpler exercises like running, swimming, dancing, jumping rope, etc. are cardio.
do strength training every day to build lean muscle. even now that you wanna flatten your stomach you have to try harder with strength training. try doing 100-150 crunches every day. days that you are not doing cardio do 200 crunches. you can try also some exercises for your arms and legs too but if they are already ok don’t do any, besides they will improve from cardio.
(3) motivation: that’s any important part. maybe the most important. i was trying to lose 10 pounds but because i haven’t had motivation i couldn’t do it. so here are some tips that help me improve/get my motivation: tell a friend/family member about your weight loss goal and tell him/her to help you, write in a journal what you eat and weigh yourself every week in the same day and time.
(4) be active: go to work with your bike or walk instead of driving. while watching tv do crunches. while listening to music dance. these are just some examples… you can think more!

The only way to safely shed pounds is, I’m sorry to tell you, but to eat nutritionally dense foods more often. Avoid any convenience foods, fast foods, syrups, high sugar anythings. COOK your meals, and if that’s impossible like if you’re a student or work, buy foods that you know exacly whats in it. Also, snacking on fresh foods like fruits and vegetables throughout the day is very helpful. -I find that this keeps your mind off convenience foods… DO NOT CUT OUT your breads, like someone mentioned earlier. YOU NEED BREADS. White bread is not the best so if you have a choice, choose whole wheat at anytime! You need carbs for energy.
As for exercise, do any kind of cardio (like running, swimming, biking, aerobics, dancing, etc.. you know what I mean…) for at least 45-60 minutes DAILY! More wouldn’t hurt. Strength training should be incorporated at least 2-3 times a week preferrably. This is especially beneficial to your health for the status of your bone density for the future (to avoid osteoporosis and the old lady slouch)
And finally, when you’re in that bikini, hold your shoulders back (as it elongates your “tummy”) and have confidence because you’re there to have fun.

you need to find an exercise and eating (notice I didn’t say DIET) plan that works for you;
You also need to find a strenuous physical activity that you actually enjoy, it might just be walking.
