How to lose weight fast and healthily?

I weigh 137 pounds and I really want to lose some weight, because I’m extremely embarrassed to go swimming. I know there’s really no “fast” way to lose weight, but what can I do to lose weight? I always drink water instead of sugary drinks, and I do 100 sit-ups and ballet squats before I go to bed every night. Any other important tips and exercises I can do for great results? Oh and I want to lose fat on my stomach, hips, and I want to tone my legs.

Fitness always helps. Some asian stores have a tye of belt that vibrates rapidly and ”shakes” the fat out of a body. You use it often for about 20 minutes.
Jumping can help the legs. I would aim for 150 sit-ups instead of 100 if you can do it.
    Not sure about the hips…

Ok so when I was 13 and when I just turned 14, I was about 125 pounds and 5’1 or 5’2. They said I was a healthy weight but I didnt look very healthy and I was always embarrassed by how I looked. Anyways now im 15, 113 pounds, and 5’3. I lost weight by walking or running at least an hour a day. 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the evening. Try running a bit during that time if you can. I live in two homes and theres not much place to run or walk 30 minutes in my second home so I decided to do swimming till I got to my other home. Swimming, and doing as many laps in the pool as you can, burns fat super fast! Well from what i’ve experienced. Also, you could hold on the to side of the pool and kick your legs underwater and that burns fat really fast too. After I started swimming, the scale said I gained more weight (I was 116) but it was muscle, not fat, because I looked skinnier than before. But yeah, thats a few ways you could do it. 🙂 Oh, one more thing that could help in weight loss is Apple Cider Vinigar. I know it sounds weird and gross but it really helps. You take 8 oz of water and put two tsp of apple cider vinigar in it. I put three tsp of it, but for beginners, two would be the best till your stomach gets used to of it. Only if you want. But if you do, take it at least twice a day. All this will really help you lose weight and tone your body. :))

    Dear harajuku,

The point is to have a plan and stick to it. Set a goal for next month to lose ….10pounds? Write down a plan for each week (food and exercise), do a daily review what you did and what not and sumarize each day how you moving forward. Do at least 30min walking each day:-).There is always a way to eat what oyu really like and lose weight.

Hi there I hope you find this article intresting as I think you will discover it to be relative to your question about losing weight.
Struggling with weight loss is not as tricky as everybody makes it seem. In reality, you can easily loose an average of 3-4lbs a week. Don’t be fooled by those catchy tag lines that read “lose 15lbs in one week”. It’s unhealthy, and you’re not going to burn fat losing that much that fast. You will in fact cause more destruction to your body and metabolism. In the first week of any diet, you will see an higher than average loss in weight. This is mostly water loss as your body adjusts to the changes.

Just to be clear, the word ‘diet’ is not going to be used in this report. Why? Because this is not a diet, it’s a lifestyle. Don’t get scared, these are very straightforward and fundamental changes that you can make to be successful.

There are three essential components to weight loss that each one needs to know. Using these collectively will maximize the fat you burn, and improve your overall fitness. Each one of these components has a straightforward affect on your body, which is why they need to be used together. The first component is cardio exercise.

Cardio makes up 20% of your overall weight loss. Cardio alone is not powerful enough to cut off those extra pounds. It does, however, complement your effort. Cardio will furthermore give you added energy right through the day, and will overall lift your spirits and makes you feel good about yourself. Cardio must in no way be over looked, and should continually be incorporated to any workout regimen. The second component is resistance weight training.

Resistance weight training makes up 30% of your overall weight loss success. What’s important to understand that the more weight in muscle you build, the more calories in the day your body requires to maintain that muscle. Remember, you don’t need to ‘bulk up’, you simply need to build lean muscle. If you are not actively lifting weights, or performing resistance weight training; your muscles are not lean. You can start off by doing low weight workouts, with higher repetitions. This will engage your muscles to burn calories, and to become leaner. The final component to successful weight loss and the biggest by far, you’re eating lifestyle.

Healthy food choices comprise of 50% of you’re weight loss achievement. Your body has to account for each calorie that you ingest. This is why your meals make up such a huge portion of these the three components mentioned inside this article. The average person will burn anywhere from 1500-2000 calories a day. This is called your basal metabolic rate, which is the bare minimum your body requires to survive. This is not counting the exercises you perform through the day. In essence, if you scoff 2000 calories per day (or what ever your basal metabolic rate is), engage in cardio exercise, and resistance weight training. You will be guaranteed to lose weight. It’s that easy… Did I point out that there was a fourth component?

The first three components are the building blocks of any healthy lifestyle. But there is something else that you can resolve to dramatically increase your success. It will help your body to shed off those extra pounds even easier….
