How to lose weight and keep the diet going on at school?

I am 15 and I want to lose weight. I need to lost weight because I am overweight. For the new school year I want to start a diet and lose a good amount of weight. How do I keep the diet going even in school? What should I eat at home and school?

    Just stay away from the vending machines! No candy, chips or soda.
    If your school offers a salad bar go for that. Skip the fries and extra salt.

    If you don’t live too far walk to school instead of getting a ride or taking the bus or stay after school to walk the track if you have one.

    You’ll get the best results if you do this with a friend so you can motivate each other and you won’t feel so alone = )

    whole wheat bread,pasta and rice instead of white,fruits and vegetables,dont drink pop and not too much juice, and choose lean meats and get low fat oil based salad dressing, eat a good breakfast with a healthy,high fibre cereal or a healthy smoothie and bring your lunch to school instead of buying it 🙂
