How to lose fat, but keep weight?…… I play football, and am a lineman?

I already know run off the fat, and weight lift to keep weight, which i am doing, but are there any specific diets that can help a Defensive lineman lose fat. I think i can keep the weight thing under control with my weightlifting, but I just need a diet, that is high protein, low carb, and low fat…… Should i replace half my meals with protein shakes……Im 16 years old, 6 foot, 214 lbs.

    Yes there is and you seem pretty big if your 214 pounds at 16. You will automaticly lose some weight if you lose fat but dont worry because it is good because you will become more agile for your size. You have to keep lifting weight but also do alot of cardio, that means running on a treadmill. Also you will have to eat a very low amount of carbs and fat man, prefferably none. You will still want a high amount of protein in your diet so you stay strong, that is why protein shakes with low carbs and low fat is a good idea. Its called cutting and that means you lose bodyfat while you maintain/add lean muscle mass. If you dont diet/train properly you wont get the results you want. Plus if you say you play football it is a goodthing because when you lose fat you will become a lot fitter.
