How much weight is natural to lose from now until the beginning of July?

Like another question I saw, I am 11, and I’m 5’7, and 153 lbs. And I actually NEED to lose weight. Like them, I have also been eating 1200 calories for the past few days. It is actually quite a sufficient diet. But how much can I lose from now until July?

    You might need to lose a little weight but as your body grows it will burn off the weight naturally. Cut you intake of sugar and sodas and eat well portioned meals and drink lots of water. Man you are a tall kid.

    Actually, you’re at a healthy weight now. Your Body Mass Index is 24.5. Normal is 20-25. You should weigh between 125 and 156 lbs.

    That said, to be healthy, the MOST an adult should lose in a month is 10 lbs.
    I would sat that an 11-year-old shouldn’t try to lose more than 10-15 lbs in two months.

    Are you eating a healthy diet? Lots of whole grains, veggies, fruit, lean meats? Don’t go below 1200 calories a day. Extremely low calorie diets cause rebound weight gain.

    Are you exercising? That can burn a lot of calories.
