How many of you became pregnant after losing some weight?

I am not new to infertility- just curious to see how many of you had results after losing a bit of weight? If so how much? And how long had you been trying?

I am not infertal but I gained about 30 pds in a matter of 2 months due to antidepressants and antipsychotic meds for my bipolar. I stopped the meds and I finally started loosing the weight and after I lost 25pds I got pregnant with our little girl who’s expected to be born on valentines day. Good luck to you!

I had my daughter two years ago. I had no problems whatsoever… and plus the daddy was small, I rode him, I was NOT trying, and I was 70 pounds heavier than I am now. Right now I am trying to conceive, the (will be) daddy is 7 inches, usually misionary, and I lost that 70 pounds. I have been trying for 4 months. I had a miscarriage in December at about 2 weeks and one in April at 13 weeks. The daddy was the same one I am with now. Ironic, considering I hear a lot about small guys, they can’t give the seman a boost thru the cervix because the can’t reach the cervix, the girl on top–it makes it harder for the sperm to swim upstream, and that overweight women have a harder time conceiving…

I don’t know that it makes a difference or not, but that is my experience. I hope it helps!

I had been trying for 6 years when i lost about 50 lbs on a low carb diet and I became pregnant with my first son. I lost 30 lbs when my son was 18 months old and I got pregnant again. I have PCO.

Well, I don’t know if it was a coincidence or not, but I lost 20lbs right before I got pregnant with my 1st son and 10 right before this one….
