How many calories should I consume a day to lose weight but also have energy to workout?

I am 28 yrs old and in pretty good shape. I am working on getting my six pack back, but I want to find out how many calories I should take in a day to help me get to my goal. I usually take in around 2,000 to 2,500 and I workout 4 days a week for an hour and a half each day. How many calories should I take in to help me lose weight but also remain healthy and energetic?
