How many calories should a averaged sized teenager be taking in?

I’m 5,9 140, give or take. It’s not for weight lose just to keep my weight. I probably get about an hour or so of shooting hoops or playing football in a day. How many calories should I be taking in?
Wow, I didn’t know this. I would bet I take in less than 1,000 calories a day.

    your active, so about 2500. It’s not really how many calories your eating, its what your eating that counts. Fruit is delicious and healthy. I love wraps- fill it with your favorite salad and dressing and chomp goodness!

    If you want to build muscle then you will have to add more calories than you ussualy do on purpose, if you want to lose wiehg thalf your normal calorie intake

    Between 1,200 and 2,000 to be healthy and maintain your weight. Naturally your body burns about 2,000 calories a day, so it’s probably better for you to shoot for 2,000 calories since you are trying to maintain your weight.
