2301. Any and every excess calorie is stored for later use. Granted, 1 calorie converted into fat is not something that would show up on even the most precise scales – 3500 extra calories equals 1lb of fat. If you have a digital scale, as little as 350 extra calories (remember that can be over the course of several days even) would appear as 0.1 lb on the scale.
Another way to look at it – if you over eat by just 100 calories a day it’ll add up to 10lbs over the course of a year. Even the little bits matter, I’m afraid.
