How do you maintain muscle, without gaining muscle?
I am a 20 year old lady. I know how to gain muscle and how to lose fat. But I am at a loss as to how you keep your muscles “the same”. I tend to gain muscle pretty fast and am at a point where I would like to stop gaining muscle and just maintain… kudos to the iron women for all their hard work… but that look isn’t for me 😛
Thanks

Keep eating an adequate amount if protein and only work each muscle group once a week.

That’s an easy one 🙂
Just eat enough to maintain your weight. Your muscles and fat will not change then.

This will tell you your weight ‘maintains’ level. Just eat that much and don’t worry about 🙂
“I know how to gain muscle and how to lose fat”
Then you do know this 😛
Cheers 🙂

Just do weight lifting with light weights and high reps. That should get you toned and keep you in shape. Good healthy food will also help you out as well.
Here’s some info on fat loss that may help you out that also talks about nutrition:
