How do you lose wight in your arms, legs, and stomach?

I am about 97.5 pounds and I am going to sixth grade. I am nervous that this is not the regular weight for a 10 year old girl. I am 5’0 ft and I feel too fat. How can I loose weight quickly so that I can be about 75 pounds? If you suggest some exercise please explain how to go it and where it will help me loose weight and how long it will take for me to look skinny. PLEASE!

at age 10, you should not have to be worrying about your weight. everyone is a different size, and right now, all you need to do is have fun. 🙂

I would try the program slim in six. It is a six week workout program. It helped me drop over 30 pounds in six weeks. Try to reduce your calorie intake to 1500 calories a day. And do one hour of cardio a day.

At that age, eat a healthy balanced diet, take regular exercise and have faith that everything will be fine in the end.

Ten year olds who subscribe to hardcore diets and/or exercise regimes are much more likely to mess up the course of puberty and their bodies in general. Whatever you look like now is a necessary part of looking hot when you’re in your late teens – I’m sure you don’t want to grow up suffering from anorexia, infertile and without boobs.

Please, please don’t worry – I was a bit of a chunky kid/teenager but always participated in loads of sport & when I hit 16/17 suddenly I had a really nice figure.

I could lose a few pounds now I am in my 30’s but that is purely a result of not doing enough exercise & eating too much food I know is bad for me. Amazingly I still have reasonable muscle definition on my thighs & abs which I put down to doing a lot of crunches when I was younger because I wanted to be thinner & leg exercise for ski-ing. It didn’t work instantly but I think it helped later on in life …

Also my best friend is a beautiful, natural size zero at 32, despite having a kid & she eats way more food than I ever have, including McDonalds etc but she got bullied at school for being really skinny & still to this day worries about too thin.

At the end of the day there is no right weight for you at your age, you are still growing & if you exercise reguarly you will be healthy & happy. At 5′ that sounds fairly tall & weighing 97.5 pounds you certainly don’t sound even close to be overweight.

You have nothing to worry about, be happy, enjoy life – nice people appreciate you for who you are anyway.

Btw never ever compare youself to film or TV stars, they get their make up done every 30 seconds & any photos you see of celebrities are all airbrushed to make them look like they have perfect skin, are slim etc they don’t look that good in real life, honest !!!!
