How do you lose fat around your chin without excersising your whole body?

Is there an exersice for you chin, or and type of food, ANYTHING to help lose fat around my chin? PLEASE HELP!!

    When sitting or standing, tilt your head back so that you’re looking up at the ceiling. open your mouth wide then close it. You should feel a stretch in your chin and neck area. Do this at least ten times for three sets. I feel your pain, I’m small but for some reason, even if I gain only 5 pounds my chin tries to double. I read about this exercise years ago, and it does work! Hope this helps. Oh, do this everyday, and you’ll see results before too long!

    Fat gets burned off when your body doesn’t have a typical energy source to use instead (i.e. food). Sorry to say, but you cannot tell your body “Go burn off the fat in my chin!” Instead, when you burn calories, you lose fat from all over your body, evenly.

    Good news is that there’s not much fat in the face/neck area so once you do exercise, it is easy to see a lot of effects of the work out in the face very soon.

    You can’t just workout your chin and expect to lose weight there. When you burn more calories than you take in you start to lose body fat, you cannot pinpoint where you lose fat. You can however build muscle in a certain area. This would give you firmer skin/fat in that area.
    Besides that there really isn’t any muscle in your chin to workout. Its all connective tissue. You have to lose overall weight and if you aren’t genetically predisposed to have a fat chin you will lose weight there.

    I agree with BigClaire. Except I used to lie on my back on my bed with head hanging off the end. Then “chin lifts” up and down and side to side. You can laugh – and I’m laughing at myself as I reread how stupid it sounds – but truly worked for me. Really tightened up that area.

    I know this will sound crazy but I once watched a Richard Simmons video exactly about this problem. All you have to do is tilt your head up towards the ceiling and say outloud the ABC’s while doing this try to tighten your jaw and neck muscles. Try it right now. See it works huh. It worked for me, maybe it will wor for you Good Luck!
