How do I lose weight quickly without getting sick or going on a long diet?

I need to get skinnier in 3 weeks! And I can’t go on a whole diet because that takes too long. And I don’t want to puke up food or anything, I don’t want to be sick.

It’s best to exercise more rather than eat less. Obviously, avoid fast food and junk food. Do at least two hours a day of cardio and weight training and you should be able to lose at least 10 pounds in 3 weeks. (depends on how much you weigh now).

There is no “safe” way to lose a lot of weight in a period of 3 weeks. The best thing to do is to start eating healthier and be very active.

DO NOT fall onto “calorie counting” (this is detrimental to your health, especially if you become very active; your body NEEDS that energy

the best thing is to cut out ALL refined sugar products (sodas, candy, and sweetly breaded products like cinnamon rolls) and all fast food products. The ingredients in fast food burgers, fries, and even salads are very difficult for your body to process.

DO NOT cut meat out of your diet, especially if you already eat it regularly. Meat is one of the only types of food that our bodies can fully process. Protein is good for you, and it helps to turn fat into muscle!

And don’t forget–your weight might go up, ESPECIALLY if you start working out a lot. Muscle weighs much more than fat, and that might be what’s happening.

A common misconception is that by eating barely anything, you can lose weight fast. This is wrong–when your body senses a depletion in intake, it will go into starvation mode, aka, it will start STORING FAT faster than normally.

Just remember to eat healthy and keep your body on the move!

Eating small frequent meals help to balance your calorie intake throughout the day and also keeps your blood sugar level balanced. Instead of eating 3 big meals, try to eat 5 – 6 smaller meals throughout the day.
If possible, purchase fresh foods and avoid package (processed) and convenient foods such as fast food. Packaged and convenient foods are often higher in sodium and fat content. Many people we spoke to are amazed that they can easily lose weight by packing a home-cooked lunch to work instead of eating out.

Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.
Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.
