How do I lose fat on my calves??

I go to the gym about 4 times a week and do a good cardio workout and have also started to do some weight lifting and started to use machines to tone thighs and calves. But the thing is that even though my calves are getting hard, they’re still pretty ‘thick’. Should I stop the toning so I don’t build any more muscle and start it after i’ve lost the extra fat?
Any suggestions on how to lose the fat on my calves?
I know u can’t spot reduce but there must be stuff that I can do that aids it? Help please!!

I don’t think you can spot reduce. I don’t have an answer to your question because I don’t do weights. Just lots of hard cardio. Good luck!

Cut down on your caloric intake (quit eating so much) for 1.. and you actually may not be doing yourself any favour by working out for 2.. work outs build muscle.. which will increase size…. and from your description that sounds Xactly like what you may bedoing in that target area… are you sure its FAT? calves actually arent a generally hi fat area on anyone.. (hardly) you may be causing the increase in size by the work out would be my guess..

This is the number one diet and exercise question.
    Spot reducing is not effective.
In some cases there has been plastic surgeons who can get good results but that is expensive and the results are not always good.
You will probably have to live with the big thick calves as this is not going to be a health issue and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
You probably won’t win any modeling contest or Miss America but these titles are over rated. Be happy the rest of your body is looking good and work on a pleasing persona. Good Luck

Are you absolutely sure that it is fat? I have enormous calves for my size (even ski boots are hard to find) but they are pure muscle so I’m actually not bothered. True, I cannot wear knee high boots (can’t even zip them up past my ankles) but I can run 3k w/out even breaking a sweat!
