How do I lose fat but not gain a lot of muscle?

I want to burn off the fat in my love handles but I do not want to gain that much muscle mass. I do some cardio workouts and then I lift weights after to tone other areas. I go to the gym for about an hour and a half. What are some exercises that can target my mid section?

    Running is the best way for the body to loose fat and get toned. there are ab exercises for the top such as hip thrust, body cross, and normal situps… there are russian twist for the obliques, and flat bench leg raises for the bottom~ look up on you tube to see demonstrations~ but u have to work out the lower back as well other wise ur stomache will go to waste~ drink allott of water and sleep good….

    key to acheiving is water and sleep… key for workout is speed and repetitions…
