How do I eat healthy while working on the road?
With the work I do, I’m out of town Mon-Fri. Most of the food we eat is either fast food, or unhealthy sit down places (Applebees ect…). I’ve looked for healthy items on the menu, but even the stuff in the diet sections aren’t that healthy. We have workout areas in the hotel, but at the same time I dont want to be eating junk food and just be burning the calories from that day. It just seems like a lost cause, and no weight will be lost. Any advice would be grateful.

just ask the place that you go to eat to make you a salad sandwich with ham or chicken
or even ask them if they have some fruit or vegetables you could buy to take with you so you can snack on them throughout the day so you arent as hungry when it comes to meal time?

Yeah I hear you. Let me tell a story that involved me. I gave up on most fast food restaurants(except Subways and Dun kin Donuts) and accepted the life of a cooker. I also studied the caloric balance of carbohydrates, protein and fat. I also studied all the vitamins and minerals. In conclusion, it wasn’t my intention but I became a professional doctor of my own and seem to know just about everything that deals with nutrition, weight loss, healthy weight gain, symptoms, the differences between soy and whey protein, complex and simple carbohydrates and the good vs bad fat. What I am trying to suggest to you is to become a cooker of your own and study the kind of things I did. Even till today I am getting lectured by yours truly. Good luck!
