How do I become 5 pounds slimmer in my thighs, hips, and butt in 3 weeks?

I’m 17 years old about 5’8 or 5’9 and I weigh 130. I want to lose about 5 pounds in 3 weeks before school starts. All of my weight is in my thighs and hips. I’m skinny at top and big at the bottom. I want to become slimmer at the bottom by using a healthy routine that doesn’t require becoming bulimic or anorexic. What foods should I eat that would give me the daily required vitamins and proteins? What type of exercises would help me become slimmer at the bottom?

You might think about trying this book called “The Movie Star Diet” by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn’t think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

I don’t care what anyone on here tells you, you CANNOT decide where you’re going to burn fat. If you loose 5 pounds of fat, your body will take it from all over. The only thing you can do (besides liposuction) is to TONE the areas you’re having problems with using area specific exercises. For hips, thighs & butt, you can do squats, lunges, leg lifts, walking and biking, hiking & running will all help tone your lower body.

There is nothing you can do to lose weight in only one or two spots. Weight loss is an all over thing, so in order to lose in your bottom half, the weight will be coming off from everywhere. The best you can hope to do is to tone up your bottom half. Look online for some toning exercises for your hips and thighs. The best all around exercise is simply walking.

there is a diet that could help you lose weight and more than 5 pounds in 3 weeks. First off, watch what you eat. Mark down what your usual diet consists of, and write down food that are healthier than your old choices. Once you have changed your choices, prepare a schedule of what you should eat everyday. Snacks like carrots, pears, bananas, nuts, and eggs (excluding the yoke inside) are sure to make you feel better about your diet. Next, losing weight does not just consist of a diet. It needs exercise, family and friend support, and self-confidence. Exercise can be used by simply just jogging around in an open area (neighboorhood, park, trail, etc.) if you want to tone your thighs. Swimming, leg and thigh weights, and biking can also help in that department. Also, like you diet, write down a weekly schedule telling you what you need to do and reward yourself for things that you have completed. Rewarding yourself may consist of support from family, going shopping for clothes, or a low-fat vanilla ice cream scoop. On to the next topic, self-confidence. If you want to lose weight, you need to have the confidence in yourself to know that you can do it. For example, write down a list of all the good things about you. Then think of how the benefits of losing weight will help you in the future. Finally, if you want to lose weight and not be depressed while doing it, ask your parents, relatives, or friends to give you their support. Surely, they will usually cheer you on.
