How come people with Eating disorders lose weight so quickly?

I am wondering this because…people say you have to at least 1200 to lose weight..but yet people with EDNOS can lose weight really fast with only eating 500 caloires or something.

how is this possible?

you don’t have to eat at least 1200 to lose weight. that’s just the healthy way to do it. they lose weight because they eat a little bit and exercise vigorously. by the end of the day they technically consume negative calories. for example, they might just eat a bowl of cereal… that’s 200 calories. but they exercise for an hour and burn about 500 calories. therefore they end up “using” -300 calories that day. it’s not a healthy way to lose weight, don’t do it.

They are killing themselves at a slow pace. It is not good for them. Do not even think to try it yourself.

because they are starving themselves. Not healthy and if they start eating again, they will gain back everything they lost. Do it the healthy way. Burn more calories than you take in. That way you can keep the weight off.

Hence the don’t eat almost nothing, their bodies stop receiving important substances, such as proteins, carbs, fats, minerals, vitamins, etc… And their bodies “get” those mineral from emergency depots ones body has, so those depots keep loosing those minerals and they massively start to loose weight in a -200% healthy way.

It may cause some permanent illness, and problems.
