How can I stop Windows Explorer form running in task manager without messing up my system?
I disable it in msconfig boot options and I messed up my system. I want to run fire fox only.
I am running Vista Business, it’s a mega hogger of my net book.

Windows Explorer _is_ Windows, it should not appear in Msconfig’s Startup tab. Actually nothing in the Startup tab is required for your system to run. Leave Explorer.exe alone in Task Manager.
Internet Explorer and FireFox are browsers. Start whichever you prefer manually.
