How can I lose weight quickly over the summer?

I’m 5’6 and I am around 150 pounds. This summer, I’m going to register to a gym in my town and I just need some advice on how to lose weight quickly over the summer. I want to lose around 20 pounds in 8 weeks and drop about 2 or more pant sizes. Help anyone ?

    The most important thing is to eat right and exercise. the first three letters in diet are… DIE. do not diet. make it a lifestyle change like a normal eating habit. just dont eat crap and dont snack when your bored, and exercise! you can start off easy too. just walk. if you need anymore help, just respond and i will help, i am a personal trainer.     you need to eat fruits, vegetables and meet. exercise once a day (lift weights bike run, ect). So people say milk is good for you and it is but don’t drink too much of it. It’s important to stick to eating wright and exercising every day.

    Zone out. There’s a reason why people exercise to their favorite music – listening to external stimulus takes your mind off of the physical activity. That’s the secret to making “exercise time” fly. If you’re concentrating on what your body is doing, the session is going to drag on for what will seem like days. Buy a portable music player, or situate yourself in front of a television.

    1.Avoid trans fats and high fructose corn syrup. I offer this suggestion for a few reasons. First, they’re not good for you anyway. Second, you’ll eliminate a lot of the “bad foods” outright – no questions asked. You’ll have to become more selective in what you eat by avoiding these two nasty ingredients – which are in more foods than you probably care to know.

    You might not believe this, but if you stick to a healthy dietary habits by eating small meals throughout the day like every 3 hours, protein shakes and copious amounts of water you will lose body fat and maintain size. Things like bread and pasta should be kept to a minimum, they are still needed and are good if you need that extra energy to get through a workout. Just don’t over do them! Losing muscle mass occurs when you are on a ‘diet’ that denies your body the nutrients needed to sustain strength. You can also take some of the supplements on this site to help speed up your weight loss.

    Eating celery, fish and salad will help a lot when wanting to lose weight. They are not magical foods that make you lose weight, but by eating those you will not eat stuff that does make you gain weight.
    Same as drinking water instead of drinking beer,., wine, carbonated drinks.

    Hi, I go to the gym once in a while and it definitely helps. But the thing about losing weight is you have to watch what you EAT. My diet is: eating diet cookies (yummy chocolate chip) that are packed with fiber, so it makes you go to the bathroom at least 2 times per day, so it cleans out your body. And also I replace 1 meal per day (lunch or supper) with a diet shake and a diet cookie.
