im a teenager, and i am overweight 🙁 i fear im never gonna get a boyfriend, so i want to lose weight. does anybody know any fast ways to lost weight, especially the belly area ! i dont want it to be boring, and i cant go to the gym !

find a sport that you like such as basketball. thats what i did. u dont realize ur excersizing because ur havin fun. and u dont have to lose weight. im sure ur beautiful

your attitude needs an adjustmen put on your ipod and i know you have one and walk around the block. its only boring if you don’t try new things also try the local library they have work out dvd’s

I used the medi-fast system or “Fit for Life” I wish I would have known about this at a teen ager time in my life. You buy the product “Foods” from a program (no I am not affiliated with them) and you learn to eat 5-6 times a day on portion control. When you start you will eat a lot of protein to feed the muscles and low caloric intake to put you body in fat burning mode. You will lose 10 or more pounds a week for the first 3-4weeks and it is WOW. Good Luck and don’t worry boy Friends will come.

Yea sports help. I’ve lost 30 pounds from basketball alone. Dancing is another fun way to lose unwanted fat. Correct diet is the key to losing belly fat. If you need a workout routine, I’ll be happy to make you one.

your request is foolish. fast, easy and not boring and no gym? get a grip. you think you need to loose weight and yet you are looking for a solution that is likely of the style of living that got you overweight in the first place.
it doesnt have to be fun and for that matter certain things can be done that will limit how “boring” or “difficult” it would be for you to loose weight. the easiest is to modify your dietary actions, now this wont be a fast fix, but it will help you keep things in line. so cut out the fatty foods, eat more veggies, aim for a balanced eating habit. the other sure fire way to loose weight is to get up and be more active. unfortunately you probably think walking is boring or too difficult, but even just going for a walk every day would make a dent. you can do situps or crunches in your room every morning and the changes will be gradual, but in a couple months it will be noticable. for the record, this IS a short period of time.
but if you want bad advice that would be “fast” and “not boring” try anorexia with a side of wrapping your midsection in syran wrap? your body will be shedding water constantly which will make you lighter (great for your body’s functioning…dehydration doesnt have any negative effects: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0ISW/is_2001_August/ai_78177228/ ) and anorexia and belimia have their own bag of bonuses as well, such as totally messing up you thyroid.
so before you worry about loosing weight, perhaps you should focus on your attitude? fast and easy and not boring doesnt produce results that you should be interested in, you should strive for readjusting your outlook to being more about “what do i want?” and “how do i get there properly?” and then take it from there.
also, after all that ranting, i would like to throw in that you probably are being hard on yourself about being overweight and perhaps even if you are you should consider that if you are doing healthy things then you are probably healthy and your reference point may be off. runway models are scarey aliens and in the flesh arent that attractive.

If you’re having some problems with self confidence and you’re not happy with your weight, then I think setting some fitness goals and working hard to achieve them will really benefit you in the long run. Don’t seek the quick fix though. Unless you learn to eat a healthy diet and get sufficient exercise, the issues you have with your weight won’t go away.
I agree with some of the others that sports is the best way to exercise. If you’re not into sports and you can’t go to the gym, you still have a lot of options for workout programs you can do at home. I watched a video from a guru trainer earlier today where she demonstrated a pretty kick butt workout she did at home. You can check that out or just surf around YouTube until you find some exercises that you can do at home.
