How can i lose weight fast and how far will starvation get me?

I am a girl, 5’5” and i weigh 135 pounds. im not fat but all of my family calls me fat and my parents dont tell them anything. they have taken a toll on my life and i can never feel good about myself. i just want to lose weight fast so i can prove to my parents what everyone did to me. what is the fastest and best way i can do this? and how long can i achieve it in?

    Girl, u r not fat. Ppl in our culture likes to comment on sizes as a general topic. Others start a conversation by talking about weather & movies or songs, but here we talk about sizes. Haven’t you noticed that you seldom hear relatives say someone is perfect-looking? Either they are too fat or too thin…That’s just what they talk about to make themselves feel good. Just ignore. Most important, u don’t think you look fat. The heck with the rest…

    If you want to permanently lose weight you need to go on a steady health binge. Starvation slows down your metabolism so anorexia is stupid. 135 lbs at 5’5″ is not terrible and within your BMI (body mass index) or just barely out side of it. If you want to lose that little bit of extra or flatten your stomach I suggest maintaining a healthy diet heavy in green leafy vegetables, lean meats and whole grain foods. You should significantly limit your sugar intake. Get a gym membership and work on toning your mid section and do at least thirty minutes of cardio every day (running for example). You won’t lose weight in an instant but you will start to feel better and soon will notice results. There is really no other healthy way of losing weight. I did the whole ano kick back in highschool and when I decided it was stupid I balooned out because I had ruines my metabolism. Slowly with a healthy diet and exercise I’ve gotten back to a healthy size. If you do trend diets etc you will see results but you will not keep them. Eat healthy and exercise (I know it sounds way too simple) but it really works! I also need to add you really don’t sound like you need to lose weight though. If you want some tone eat as I said and do some exercises. Toning and exercise will make anyone feel good. Trust me I know how you feel about your family, my Dad has been nagging me about my weight since I was able to reason or comprehend what weight is (as early as age 4). So I’ve been body conscious forever! Don’t destroy your body because other people are cruel. You are only punishing yourself. Other side effects of anorexia include the deterioration of the muscles around your heart, I know someone who dropped dead in her dorm room of a heart attack when she was 23 from a severe eating disorder. You will also become infertile and have a hormonal imbalance (as long as your body does not have the right amount of fat). You will destroy your hair, skin, nails, and organ systems. There is a damn good reason why we need a balanced diet.

    See if you can find a sport of do some training such as self defense training…or something you like. Go to the classes, do the exercises and try and train to do better each day. Train most days, leaving a few days off here and there for your muscles to rest.

    The exercise routine has to be one that gets your heart beating and you break a sweat. The thing about jujitsu or boxing or phillipino stick fighting is that you’ll move. And as you get better, you’ll get more and more trim. Your muscles will become more defined, this will push against fat under the skin which will absorb, and you’ll slowly but surely get a better physical shape.

    It can be inline skating, or surfing or swimming…just pick something that is a challenge, and train for it.

    Eating: Eat whatever it is you eat, but eat slowly. Take a bite, put the fork down. After you’ve chewed it up and swallowed, take a drink of water or whatever. Talk to your friends or siblings or parents or ?. then take another bite, put the fork down! Chew it up, slowly, take a little drink. Talk. converse….Take another bite….etc.

    I’ve found that if I go to the ‘burger joint’ and get my most favorite munchy wonderful burger…that if I eat it slowly, with small bites, taking my time…by the time I’m half way through the thing, I can’t eat another bite!

    Cleansing: Your colon does NOT hold 6 undigested meals in it. Or ONE for that matter. Doesn’t work that way. the colon physiology is very, very precise. You can cleanse it out, but then you have to recolonize it with normal colon bacteria so that you can metabolize the material in there the way it’s supposed to be metabolized. Have you heard of ANY physician tell you to clean out your colon to lose weight? But, buy my colon irritant pills for $30 and you’ll feel wonderful…etc. Why not just take a bunch of laxitives from the pharmacy and sit in there for a few hours? Does the same thing, irritate the colon lining so things slide on out.

    Don’t do the weight thing fast. Do it consistently. Train daily. The rest, including your mental attitude, will improve substantially. You are not here to please THEM. Be the best YOU for YOU.

    Okay. Cut out eating in between meals.
    Only eat healthy food and cut down on Carb’s like bread, potatoes, pasta’s, rice, cereals, lollies, fruits etc. These are the fat making foods. Learn exactly what your food groups are so you then know what puts the weight on and off.
    Don’t add salt to your meals. Cut out soft drinks.
    Then walk an hour every morning two hours after a meal and the same in the afternoon.

    If you can jog in between both sessions you’ll burn even more calories. But just do what your body lets you do. Walking is just as good combined with diet control.
    You should lose and continue to lose more weight as you go.
    If you can cut out your lunch meal and replace it with a protein drink instead that would also help. Available in supermarkets. Like “Slim Right”.
    As long as you can stay off junk food and eating in between meals. If you have to eat something in between have something like small raw carrots or celery sticks.
    Herbal teas, low fat milk and water are your best choice of drinks.

    Summary:

    Choose a cereal low in sugar for breakfast. Remember all cereals are carbohydrates!
    Lunch can best be a protein drink. Like “Slim Right”.
    And all normal meals at a normal serve. Cut down on potatoes and only have small portions of these. Walking as much as you can.
    For those that want to build more muscle add some gym work to the above as well.

    Technical Stuff:

    All our bodies require a specific quantity of a protein level. The protein is taken from the food we eat. If we eat higher concentrations of protein from specific foods like say meat then that level is reached quickly. If we don’t eat enough protein then our body searches for other sources of protein contained within the Carbohydrates.
    Carbohydrates only contain a small amount of protein so we end up consuming too much of it just to get out limit of protein. At the same time absorbing too much sugar from the carbohydrates and in turn too much weight. This is how and why we put on weight. Many people over eat because they don’t consume enough protein from the right sources. Then they over compensate by binge eating carbohydrate type foods.

    The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did….lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won’t help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don’t eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i’m going pretty well if i don’t say myself. 90 LBS isn’t anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice.
