How can i get rid of belly fat quickly?

I’m 5’6″ and 113 lbs. I’ve gained a lot of belly fat lately because I’m in transition between sport seasons. I’ve not been exercising very much lately because i’ve been really busy, and my stomach which was pretty flat before isn’t really anymore. I’ve tried crunches and sit ups but its not working! I really don’t want it to get worse. Does anyone know any diets or exercises to get rid of belly fat? Thanks!

A 113lbs. is not even close to being fat. Fat people are 200lbs or more, but if you what to lose weight you should walk around the block almost every day, than when it gets easy walk two block almost every day. I used almost evey day becuse if you do walk the one or two blocks every day, you would have to take one day of the week off.

Sit ups and crunches don’t remove fat, they just build muscle under the fat. Try and do some cardiovascular exercise, and make sure you’re eating a balanced diet (not too many carbs)

    Hope this helps 🙂

Just relying on crunches won’t do it. It would be better to engage in a fat-burning cardiovascular exercise and combine that with exercises that firm up and strengthen the abdominal area.

I have listed below two links to articles which provides tips to eliminating belly fat.

The way to lose fat is to eat less and move more. Cut back on your caloric intake. As far as exercise, crunches and sit-ups won’t really get rid of fat. Don’t necessarily stop doing them, but in order to burn fat, concentrate on cardio – running or cycling. The source I’m providing will help you figure out how many calories to consume.

This is all assuming that you are an adult. If you are a kid and your body is still growing, then dieting is usually not a good idea unless you are in dire straits. Which at 5’6″/113, you are not.

    Best of luck.

You need to go to therapy to find out what the underlying cause may be.
it has to be more than a craving…maybe a hormone imbalance or something
medically or mentally out of whack. you need to start exercising and eat fresh fruits/vegies,
berries and fiber when you want to eat the junk food. occupy your time with reading, walking,
hanging out with friends, etc. attend church. having God on your side always helps.
For exercise try this (it worked for me ) http://www.weightlossdisc.com
