How can I adjust my diet to lose weight quickly now that I’m too fat too run?I’m only 20 and I’m obese, Dudes!

I use to be very active in high school but I simply have no idea how to adjust my diet and I can’t seem to find anything online that’s free to formulate a positive diet to get to losing weight.

    walking is good exercise. all you need is a good pair of shoes. eat a well balanced diet and drink water, too.

    Just cut back on the bad things and exercise more. if your not losing weight then keep cutting back on the food and adding exercise. Its easier said then done. Im fat too.. lol

    Try to stop drinking sodas, juices, etc…ALL WATER…that alone will cut calories. And you don’t need to run…walking is just as good. GOOD LUCK!!!

    Walk. You burn about as many calories walking as you do running.

    If you start eating more fruits and vegetables you will find that you can eat more with fewer calories. Also cut out the sodas. A 20 oz of pepsi has 250 calories or 1/14th of a lb. If you just cut out one soda a week, you’ll lose a lb in two weeks.

    Remember it’s all about calories in calories out.

    Simply put>add more veggies and fruit and lean protein(poultry n fish-not fried). NO soda or fast food. Eat small meals throughout the day instead of 3 big ones. Eat a high fiber cereal in the morning. Drink ALOT of water and dont pressure yourself. Try walking briskly for about 15 minutes and slowly increase your time. Good Luck!
    PS im an overweight 23 yr old smoker and after 3 months i can RUN 10 minutes and walk fast 60 minutes. I also lost 35 pounds by doing the same.

    I share your pain man. but i have a simple suggestion. RED PEPPERSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! These things helped me loose 10 pounds/ i dont know if teyll help you, but they are incredibly good tasting NOT SPICE DESPITE BEING PEPPERS also you can eat as many as you want and theyll HELP you!!!! ITS A FRIGGIN MIRICLE and celery with black pepper is a good combo if you got the munchies but on a diet. and in answer to the running problem TREADMILL

    * 1 fillet of salmon (without skin)
    * Salt and pepper
    * Oregano powder
    * Water (adjust the amount to your preferences)

    Instructions:

    First sprinkle the salmon fillet with salt and pepper, add a sprinkle of oregano. Leave it for a few hours.

    Then chop the salmon fillet to a small dice size.

    Chop the green onion leaves, garlic, cauliflower, and paprika and tomatoes.

    Then put all of the ingredients into the water and boil it. Leave all the ingredients in the boiling water for 10 minutes.

    Then lower the fire and keep boiling it until all the ingredients are soft.

    This soup will be your main course throughout the week so it’s better if you stock more ingredients just in case your supply runs out.

    The soup should also be your choice if you feel hungry.

    You should also drink pure water at least 10 glass a day. Don’t drink it all at once but spread it throughout the day.

    Water is essential toward your body digestion and it helps clean your blood from bad particles.

    After three days you should feel stronger and healthier than before while losing weight at the same time.

    Should your digestion system is affected then consume a small portion of oatmeal to help your digestion.

    Day 1:

    Eat the soup accompanied with watermelon and melon for your main food all day long. Consume a glass of unsweetened cranberry juice before you go to bed.

    Day 2:

    Stop eating fruit at all! Consume your soup and you are allowed to eat green salad. Make sure the salad contain no dressings, peas and corns.

    For dinner you can consume roasted potato or baked potato with butter (don’t ever think to fry it)

    Day 3:

    Consume the soup, salad and fruit but no potato today.

    Day 4:

    Eat the soup accompanied with a glass of skimmed milk. Consume 8 pieces of banana to provide your body enough energy. Your body now need carbohydrate and protein also calcium to lessen body need for sugar.

    Day 5

    Eat your soup again. Today you should consume salad and salmon fish. Make sure the salmon fish don’t exceed 10 ounces.

    Day 6

    You should consume maximum 10 ounces of meat along with your soup. You need the protein here.

    Last Day

    Consume 4 table spoons of rice with vegetables. Drink fresh watermelon or melon juice without sugar and eat your soup also today.

    Just start moving. Walking twice as much as you walked yesterday is a huge start. Drink water. Try to start a habit of drinking a few sips of water the first thing in the morning. The next thing you know you will be thirsty and craving water in the morning and will drink it all day long. Stop drinking soda. Maybe limit yourself to one per day then one per week and soon they won’t be as appealing. Add vegetables to your diet. Start with the ones you already like. Eat foods that are natural. If it comes in a bag, box or can, skip it for a while. Eat lots of salad. Try new things in your salad like cranberries and walnuts. Whatever sounds good. Instead of pouring on the dressing, put it in a little cup or bowl next to your plate and try dipping your fork in it before each bite. It works! You get a huge amount of fat from bottled dressings. There are some fat free ones, but you have to get used to the taste. I hope this helps you. Just remember get moving, drink water and eat some healthy foods. When you start seeing some results you will be motivated to do more. Maybe even cutting out fast food!!

    i lost 75 pounds last year by walking 3 miles a day for 4 days a week…after about 2 1/2 months i was able to start jogging…then running. i feel so much better now! drink lots of water…no pop, ice cream, candy…pretty much any junk food…you can do it…just believe in yourself!
