How can an overweight american lose weight living in India and eating all high fat Hi carb Indian food?

I need to lose a lot of weight, but am struggeling. No packaged diet food! All that is around here is potatoes, rich gravies, and breads! It is even hard to get meat in my city! Any tips?

    Eat less 🙂 Just because you are served a ton of food doesn’t mean you have to eat it all. Also, Indian food does have many healthy options consisting of fruits and vegetables. You definitely don’t need “diet food” to lose weight, the most important thing is to eat in moderation.

    Oh, be sure to drink 10-15 glasses of water a day without drinking any carbonated drinks and coffee or tea. Try it. For I have done this. I lose weight from 75 kilos to 62 kilos in 3 months. Now, I am on my 3rd year and I am maintaining my weight from 56kilos to 60 kilos nowadays.

    Reduce the amount you eat, and try to get some more exercise. Also, make sure you get a full 7 to 8 hours sleep. In addition to a good night’s sleep being good for your metabolism, most people can actually burn 50 to 75 calories per hour SLEEPING! Other than that, I’m not sure what else.

    Frankly with hi carb food, its difficult

    you need to cut down ur cal intakes

    go to salad and milk

    do some walking and jogging.
