For The Past 6-7 Weeks I Have Exercised Like Mad, And Haven’t Lost Any Weight?

I can see my body shrinking and I have dropped a dress size, but I am still the same weight why is it?

    Muscle weighs more than fat. Five pounds of fat looks like 3 grapefruits, five pounds of muscle looks like two tangerines.

    A pound of fat takes up three times as much space as a found of muscle. So if you are losing fat and gaining muscle at the same time you would end up at the same weight or maybe even heavier. The important thing is your body fat percentage is in the healthy range

    Muscle! When I saw your question I was gonna advise you to stop weighing and measure your waist instead but you can see the difference. Muscle is loads heavier than fat and if you’ve been doing a lot and not gaining you have lost quite a lot of fat. I gained 5 lbs in 10 days once training for a run. It will plateau after a while but till then set your goals in waist inches! This is great cos every lb of muscle you have burns 50 calories every day just being there. Well done!
