Does your stomach shrink inside when dieting?
I have been on a diet now for 6 weeks and have lost 12lbs by just cutting down my calorie intake but wondered if my stomach will be shrinking.
As a treat at the weekend i got a pizza and was full after 1 slice… not like me at all as i LOVE pizza. I have also found smaller meals like egg on toast hard to finish aswel.
Just curious really if the diet has reduce the amount of food i need to feel full

well I would imagine not which is to say once you are fully grown you as you may have noticed seen plenty of bellies that are clearly bigger on the outside the stomach lining would have stretched to accommodate the food consumed and it may well have gotten bigger than before it was stretched having lost weight and eating less it would have presumably shrunk back to it’s normal size as a fully grown stomach lining and stayed the size it needed to be for normal eating now also presumably if one were to for one day only eat as much as one did all the time when the lining expanded in the first place it would have struggled to cope. So it has gone back to normal size but no smaller
