Does Wii fit help in losing weight and getting toned or is it more for people who are already fit and toned?

I’m looking around for some programs that will help change the way I eat and help me to exercise. I want to start gradually and then pick up as I go. Does Wii fit actually help you lose weight and get toned? Or should I go with a more weight loss program?

    Yes it does, and also helps develop balance & posture. However, just like any other exercise regimine you have to work out with it often & eat properly or it won’t do anything. So if you want to make a change then make it, people don’t ease into fitness “gradually”. Being fat could be linked to genetics, but being unhealthy is a choice. But if your set on taking baby steps then I think the wii would be a good choice, as long as it does more then collect dust.

    It’s for both. I used to be really weak, and overweight. Being the video game freak I am, I automatically loved Wii Fit once I got it. It made me more into athletics, and I also became stronger, and lost about 30 pounds from playing it. 🙂
