try what i do
i am a 17 year old female who weighs approximately 50 kilos and I am 168cm in height. I go to the gym three times a week for an hour of cardio (mainly on the cross trainer) and according to the machines i burn about 850-950 calories each time. ( i know the machines aren’t that accurate).
My daily diet is ;
Breakfast: all bran with semi skimmed milk and 2 pieces of fruit ussually nectarines. (300 calories ish)
Snack: apple (50 calories)
Lunch; turkey sandwich (whole meal break and turkey slices no spread) (150 calories)
Snack; will bar (213 calories)
Dinner; varied but consists of 300 calories. tonight i had a fish cake, green beans and noodles.
Dessert; 250 calories..maybe and icecream or yohgurt and bar
Supper; cereal with semi skimmed milk (allbran or special k) with a piece of fruit (250-300 calories)
I drink two litres of water each day and i have about two diet drinks and two cups of green tea.
good luck xxx

Wow, good for you. Well, you are doing the right thing, since you shouldn’t diet too hard, but what you can do is to drink water only (if you dont already do). That will cleanse your system and make you eat less. Eat alot of fruit and veggies. Eat whole-grain bread instead of white bread. (:

Its easy.
Eat less crap, exercise more.
Drink lots of water.
That’s it in a nutshell.

its as sime as this:
calories taken > than calories burned = weight gained + fat % increase
Calories taken< than calories burned = muscle gained + fat decrease. put simply, the amount of calories you eat needs to be less than the amount of exercise you do to make a difference, you may still gain weight, as muscle is denser than fat, so really the best to see if you're loosing Fat is the 'pinch and inch' test, if you can pinch more than an inch worth of fat, then you need to workout more. focus on endurance exercises and weight exercises, not just on running, mix it up, try resistance bands, i've found them to be really useful as whenever I have a spare moment i can use it and have a quick workout, getting into the habit of this will probably really make a difference.
