By dieting I mean calorie restriction. Could it mess up your growth systems including your brain developement?

Calorie restriction will not cause groth deficiency unless you are doing it to an extreem. Genetics plays the biggest factor in intellgence.

Eating to much and becoming obease however, will put strain on your back, knees, ankles which will cause you pain and discomfort thus making it hard to do cardio so you will put yourself in a vicious circle.

As we know, we need to eat healthy & proper food to have a full concentration at school. If you were very hungry while doing your school exam, all what you think would be only spaghetti, chicken wings, Burger Kings, food … food… and food, etc.
If one is born to be stupid, no matter how much he eats, hîs brain size would stay the same, except his body appearance & weight. So a lot of food doesn’t make one’s brain bigger & heavier!
Not enough calories means not enough energy, makes you feel more tired, dizzy, so what’s the point?
Do some exercise to get slim, it works better!

Eat only when hungry. Eat not more than three times a day unless u r diabetic. Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No deficiency will be caused by eating this way and hence no worry of lower intelligence.
