Try looking into the Bradley Method — the focus is on preparing for childbirth as an ATHLETIC event, including nutrition. After my Bradley baby, I was back to my pre-baby weight in 2 weeks (but still carrying the weight from his older brother …)

    Best wishes!

Well really the best thing to do is just eat healthy and walk at least 5 days a week. You can’t do any strenous exercising so you could do yoga or something like that to keep your muscle strength. As for losing the weight fast after baby….really it’s going to take just as long as it would take for anyone losing weight. You’ll be able to start exercising around 6 weeks and just start off light and lead up to a fat burning routine and you should be there within a few months after delivery. Don’t worry about it so much though. You’re pregnant and the most important thing is making sure your baby is taken care of. You’re figure will adapt just fine considering thats what it’s built to do. Good luck

Walking is great excercise during pregnancy. I walk 4 times a week and try to do at least a mile. For post baby weight loss I did calorie counting. I suggest buying a notebook and keeping track of everything you eat. Try to eat between 1200-1500 calories. I did that and lost forty pounds in 4 months. Good luck!

I was back to normal weight about 1 month or about 5/6 weeks after I gave birth to my son.
I exercised VERY little…it was more so I ate alot less and I forgot to eat bc of everything going on and me being so busy. 🙂 Lol. I had a C-Section too..and If you have natural then you can prolly exercise sooner. 🙂

Eat healthy foods, get plenty of exercise, drink the gallon (yikes, yeah it’s a lot) of water per day. Walking and swimming are great, as well as a few little moves found here http://www.babycenter.com/0_four-exercises-to-ease-aches-and-help-with-labor_1332762.bc

If you plan on breast feeding that will help with getting back into shape, or just keep going with the healthy foods, drinking plenty of water and taking baby for walks.

Do not eat junk food, live off salad. Don’t eat white bread. Continue exercising while pregnant and the breastfeed.

WALKING!! I only gained 32 pounds. It took 5 weeks after I had her to get back to my weight. I only had 10 pounds to lose once I had her. I didn’t do anything out of the ordinary after she was born. I ate, slept, and worked. Out of nowhere I was back down to my weight. That did it for me. It’s true what they say about excercise making labor easier too. My water broke at 9 a.m. To not waste time at the hospital I waited until noon to get there. My baby was born at 6:14 p.m. the same day, and she was my first. Supposedly your first time being in labor is the longest, but it wasn’t that bad. I didn’t get the epidural either because that slows contractions I’ve heard, so labor was quick in my opinion. Just walk as often as you can. I didn’t even diet. Hope this helps 🙂

There are definitely quite a lot of particulars like that to take into consideration. That is a nice point to deliver up. I offer the ideas above as common inspiration however clearly there are questions just like the one you deliver up where crucial factor will probably be working in trustworthy good faith. I don?t know if greatest practices have emerged around things like that, however Im certain that your job is clearly identified as a good game. Anyway, in my language, there arent much good supply like this.
