best and effective ways of losing weight?

I am 5 foot 7 roughly … and wear a size 12/14 (UK) at the moment and feel really awful about how I look so what are the best and effective was to lose weight.
Also include exercises that I could do at home if you know any.

    you can great dance work outs such as ministry of sound which are really fun and energising to do and help to burn off that weight also eating healthily and trying to avoid junk food, I always eat a programmed healthy diet plan through the week and then eat what I like but in proportion on the weekend
    by the way, 5’7 and a size 12/14 is a healthy size
